It's a 2000's Party Jacksonville Concert reviews
Bad Sound
I have seen a lot of shows in this arena and this was one of the worst. The mix was so off, you could barely hear Chris vocals over the band. Several people around us got up and left half way through the show, covering their ears. The only time it sounded right was when I got up and went out into the concourse. Even with a strong voice like his, whoever was in charge of the sound mix messed that up for everyone there. Sorry, I could not recommend this show to anyone unless they fire the sound person. We were looking forward to seeing It's a 2000s Party in our home town and his too. They really should come back and give us another show for free, with a new sound person.
Wow- one of the best shows ever!
After following the 2000s Party since they started, my first chance to see them, and this being my expectations were high- I was not let down. Dave and company played for an incredible 3 hours- and wore the crowd out before his voice! Stage set up was great- since our seats were straight out from the stage- and a platform was built so Dave could run out and play for schleps like me with crummy seats. Songs that spoke to me on record were much more emotion-filled live (as always) which meant a rollercoaster of head banGing to tearful ballad. Seriously- best show ever. I drove 6 hours to see them before they took off to Australia ....and I would've driven 12 to see them again.
